Terms of Use
Updated 13 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Thali, operated by Allen Joseph. By using the app you agree to them. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Not medical advice
Thali gives general nutrition estimates for healthy adults. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat any condition.
Talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before major diet changes, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18, have diabetes, an eating disorder, or any medical condition.
AI estimates
Calorie and nutrition values from photos, menus, descriptions and searches are estimates and can be wrong, sometimes by a lot. You can edit every value before and after logging. Use your own judgement.
Your account
Keep access to your email secure, since it’s how you sign in. You’re responsible for activity on your account. You can delete it at any time in the app.
Subscriptions
Thali Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
If a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Fair use
Don’t misuse the service: no automated or excessive requests, reverse engineering of our servers, or uploading content you don’t have the right to share. We may limit or suspend accounts that do.
Liability
Thali is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on estimates in the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions: allenjosephquery@gmail.com.
